Overview
Pasig Livelihood Foundation, Inc. (PLFI) is an organization that provides skills training to Pasigueños, pursuant to R.A. 7796 creating the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and in accordance with Board Resolution 98-03 dated January 3, 1998, for the purpose of serving as information exchange and coordinating center to make available technical assistance for livelihood projects. Programs are aimed at equipping Pasigueños with the necessary skills and competencies that can foster self-employment and assistance to would-be entrepreneurs.
The Foundation exists as a community-based training institution with the objective of strengthening the City Government of Pasig's programs for advancement in non-formal technical education.
The programs of the PLFI are designed to assist the residents of Pasig City through various means of providing training, technical assistance and provide instructional materials.
The Foundation continuously believes in adopting new ideas, programs, methods and latest practice in providing livelihood training and projects.
To support the adoption and application of appropriate technologies and to enhance and ensure efficiency and competitiveness in tech-voc training, Trainers development which includes the promotion of accreditation through bringing together the expertise and assist the interests and well-being of training staff, objectives are being met through a well-coordinated program of activities and technology advancement. Thus, Trainers of Pasig Livelihood Foundation Inc. are HOLDERS OF Certificates from TESDA Training - Trainors Methodology (TM ) and Assessor (AM) Methodology for Trainors Qualification (TQ).
